House of the Long Shadows

“Room for every nightmare… A nightmare in every room.”

Kenneth Magee (Desi Arnaz Jr.), an American novelist, takes a $20,000 bet that he can write a classic like Wuthering Heights in a single day. He picks a remote manor in Wales to do it, then finds the supposedly empty house full of odd residents, among them Lionel Grisbane (Vincent Price). Pete Walker gathers Price, Lee, Peter Cushing and John Carradine under one roof, the old stars hunched in candlelit rooms with the long shadows across the walls.
