“Edgar Allan Poe's demonic tale of The Ungodly... The Evil House of Usher”

The Usher estate is a crumbling house in the countryside, cut off and cracked down its walls, where Roderick Usher (Vincent Price) believes generations of evil have tainted his family. Philip Winthrop (Mark Damon) arrives to collect his fiancée, Madeline (Myrna Fahey), and Roderick will not let the wedding go forward. Roger Corman and writer Richard Matheson, adapting Poe, leave Roderick in his house, and Price stays in the rooms of the crumbling estate.
