House of Voices

In 1958, high in the French Alps, a young servant named Anna Jurin (Virginie Ledoyen) arrives at the Saint Ange orphanage to work as a housekeeper. Pascal Laugier sets her in a nearly empty building where the other children have been sent to new families, and she is secretly pregnant. Only Judith (Lou Doillon) remains, a girl who hears footsteps and children's voices, and Anna begins to hear them too.
