Houseboat

“It All Happens Happily on a Heaven of a Houseboat!”

Tom Winters (Cary Grant) is a widowed lawyer who barely knows his three children, and he takes them to live on a houseboat after his wife's death. Cinzia Zaccardi (Sophia Loren), an Italian socialite on the run, signs on as their housekeeper. Melville Shavelson shot it in Technicolor and VistaVision, giving the small, crowded boat a bright, storybook polish.
