How Do You Know

“How do you know it's love?”

Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) is a veteran softball player in the world of national-team tryouts, and she has just been cut from the USA squad. Her evenings are with Matty (Owen Wilson), a charming major-league pitcher, until she meets George (Paul Rudd), a businessman whose company is facing a civil fraud suit. James L. Brooks writes it as a comedy of three people at a crossroads, with Jack Nicholson as George's father.
