How I Ended This Summer

Pavel Danilov (Grigoriy Dobrygin) is a recent college graduate sent to a polar station on a remote island in the Arctic Ocean, where he works the months alongside the veteran meteorologist Sergey Gulybin (Sergey Puskepalis). Then a radio message comes through, and Pavel keeps looking for the right moment to tell Sergey. Alexey Popogrebsky's film is about how a small lie, left to sit between two men with nowhere to go, becomes the only thing in the room.
