“Love will lead you home”

An American teenager, Daisy (Saoirse Ronan), is sent to stay with her cousins in the English countryside just as a war begins to close in on the world around them. She falls hard for her cousin Eddie (George MacKay), and the house, the fields and the younger children, Isaac and Piper, become a small world of their own. Kevin Macdonald lets the first love grow between Daisy and Eddie even as everything outside the farm starts to give way.
