How I Unleashed World War II, Part II: Following the Arms

Franciszek Dolas (Marian Kociniak) is bound for Cyprus after his escape from the Stalag camp when an Italian submarine sinks his ship. An Allied vessel pulls him and some of the other sailors out of the water, and they end up conscripted into the French Foreign Legion in Beirut. Tadeusz Chmielewski leaves Dolas with a cook's job and the uniform he never asked for.
