François (Bernard Campan) has just won the lottery, and he spends the first of it in a Pigalle bar, offering a prostitute named Daniela (Monica Bellucci) one hundred thousand euros a month to live with him as his wife. She has no reason to say yes except the money, and the money only lasts as long as it lasts. Bertrand Blier, who won the Silver George for Best Director in Moscow for it, leaves Bellucci in the doorway of the bar, the Pigalle lights behind her.
