How the Grinch Stole Christmas

“You better watch out!”

The Grinch (Jim Carrey), a green misanthrope living alone on Mount Crumpit, wants one thing from Whoville: for its Christmas to stop. Ron Howard builds the town in swirling, lopsided sets, and a small girl named Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen) is the one resident who looks at him with any kindness. Under the noise and tinsel, the film is about a creature who has spent his life outside the celebration, and what it takes to be let in.
