How to Build a Better Boy

“Never underestimate two girls with a plan.”

Two high school outcasts, Gabby Harrison (China Anne McClain) and Mae Hartley (Kelli Berglund), type the traits of an ideal boyfriend into a high-tech government computer, and out comes Albert (Marshall Williams). He is a cybernetic sweetheart with one directive: give Mae the perfect high school romance. Paul Hoen directs it at the bright, quick pace of a Disney Channel movie, with the comedy built around the girls trying to pass Albert off as a regular student.
