How to Build a Girl

In 1990s Wolverhampton, Johanna Morrigan (Beanie Feldstein) lives in a crowded house with her family, among them her father Pat (Paddy Considine), and money is short. She invents Dolly Wilde, a fast-talking persona, and moves to London to work as a music critic. Coky Giedroyc follows her there, where she is trying to become someone new, and the person she leaves behind has to be built all over again.
