How to Get Ahead in Advertising

(1989)Directed by Bruce Robinson95 min · RFantasy, Comedy, Drama
“The career where two heads are better than one.”

Denis Dimbleby Bagley (Richard E. Grant) is a London adman stuck on a campaign for a pimple cream, and the boss and the client both want results he can't deliver. Under the strain he starts to crack, and a boil comes up on his neck that has begun to talk. Bruce Robinson keeps Bagley at his desk, sweating through his shirt, the boil's small closed eye looking out from his collar.
