How to Lose Friends & Alienate People

(2008)Directed by Robert B. Weide110 min · RComedy, Romance, Drama
“He's across the pond, and out of his depth.”

Sidney Young (Simon Pegg) is a struggling British journalist who wants a seat at the glossy end of the business, and a pig and an awards ceremony get him there. Clayton Harding, editor of the New York magazine Sharps, hires him, and Sidney flies to the Big Apple to move from one blunder to the next. Robert B. Weide, who adapted Toby Young's memoir, keeps the film loose and brisk.
