How to Pull Out a Whale's Tooth

Eight-year-old Vašek Rychman (Tomáš Holý) sets out to find a new husband for his mother Anna (Jana Preissová), and he goes about it like a boy with a job to do. His father Luboš (František Němec) is still in the picture, and so is the grandmother (Jana Dítětová) who has her own opinions. Marie Poledňáková builds the film around a child who badly wants his family to be settled, and who has no idea how little that is up to him.
