How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

(1967)Directed by David Swift121 minComedy, Romance
“Nothing Succeeds Like "Succeed" ! !”

Finch (Robert Morse) is a former window cleaner who buys a paperback on climbing the corporate ladder and starts applying it to the World Wide Wicket Company, beginning in the mailroom. David Swift films the 1967 musical in bright, stagy colors, with Bob Fosse's original staging kept in the dance numbers. Rosemary (Michele Lee), a secretary who has her own hopes for him, keeps pace with him from desk to desk while Finch keeps one eye on the book.
