“What if everything you were forced to keep inside was suddenly set free?”

In a genetics laboratory, Bruce Banner (Eric Bana) takes a dose of gamma radiation that should have killed him. Instead, anger now turns him into a giant green creature, and General Ross (Sam Elliott) wants him captured, with his daughter Betty (Jennifer Connelly) caught between them. Ang Lee follows a man who keeps his temper down because he fears what waits underneath, and a childhood he cannot remember.
