“Every life has a price.”

An accident on a cold night puts two families in the same room, though they have little else in common. Ian (Alex Wolff) has just started seeing Shannon (Maya Hawke), the daughter of Drew Hagel (Liev Schreiber), and her family's money is what ties them to the Mannings, led by Quint (Peter Sarsgaard). Marc Meyers lets the account of that night pass from one household to the next, and each of them has more to lose than it admits.
