“When love and fate collide”

Otto Quartz (Dean Stockwell) has taken over a roadside diner in a town built around a nuclear power plant that never stops leaking, and he means to burn the place down for the insurance money. Spaceships keep crossing the sky, and odd characters like Lionel Switch (Neil Young) keep wandering in the way. Young and Stockwell share the directing, with Young credited as Bernard Shakey, and they play it all in the same flat voice.
