Human Traffic

(1999)Directed by Justin Kerrigan100 min · RComedy, Drama
“The weekend has landed.”

Jip (John Simm) and his four friends spend their weekdays in dead-end jobs, counting down to Friday night. That's when they cut loose and ride the weekend straight through to Monday morning. Justin Kerrigan's film keeps them together on the long run, and between Jip and Lulu (Lorraine Pilkington) there is a closeness the two of them keep circling without ever quite naming.
