“Welcome to the Lost Coast”

Peter (Jeremy Strong) is a medical student days from starting his residency when Professor Hadley (Peter Bogdanovich) fails him, and the night ends in bed with Bogart (Fairuza Balk), a singer and actress passing through Los Angeles. He follows her north to the redwoods and her family of pot farmers, and then Bogart is gone without a word. Grodsky and Jacobs leave Peter in that house of strangers, where the only person he knows is the one who left.
