Hunger
In 1890, the streets of Christiania hold a young writer named Pontus (Per Oscarsson), who has gone days without a proper meal and has nothing to his name but his pride. Henning Carlsen follows him through the city as he hunts for love and a newspaper that will print his work. Pontus is delighted one moment and cursing everyone the next, and he will not let go of his dignity.
