Hunky Dory

Vivienne Mae (Minnie Driver) teaches drama at a Swansea comprehensive in the sweltering summer of 1976, where her pupils mostly want the term to be over. She has decided they will stage an end-of-year version of Shakespeare's The Tempest, with Davey (Aneurin Barnard) and Stella (Danielle Branch) among the cast. Marc Evans has the teenagers sing it in the pop songs of the day, but the show has to come together before the last bell.
