Hunt for the Wilderpeople

“Nature just got gangster.”

Nobody can say why a gruff old man and a foster kid from the city have vanished into the New Zealand bush, but soon the whole country is looking for them. Ricky (Julian Dennison) was meant to settle in with Hec (Sam Neill), a cantankerous loner who never asked for a boy, and Taika Waititi follows the two as the search closes in. Ricky keeps defying everyone, Hec keeps grumbling, and neither can leave the other behind.
