Husbands and Wives

(1992)Directed by Woody Allen108 min · RComedy, Drama, Romance
“A hilarious comedy about being married, being single, sex and life in New York.”

Over dinner, Sally (Judy Davis) and Jack (Sydney Pollack) announce they are separating, and nobody at the table can say why, least of all the couple themselves. Gabe (Woody Allen), a professor, and his wife Judy (Mia Farrow) watch their closest friends come apart and start looking harder at their own marriage. Allen films it handheld and breaks in with interviews, and what sits at risk is whether the Roths can stay together once they see the flaws.
