I Am Dina

“This is my Story”

In Northern Norway in the 1860s, a little girl named Dina accidentally causes her mother's death, and her father, Edvard (Bjørn Floberg), will not raise her. Left to the household servants, with the stable boy Tomas for her only friend, Dina grows up wild and calls her mother's ghost to her. Ole Bornedal follows her toward adulthood, Maria Bonnevie's Dina running free through the north, a child no one claimed.
