Susana (Verónica Echegui) wants to escape the narrow life mapped out for her in 1990s Madrid. She finds a confidante in Bárbara (Silma López), a girl with her own hunger to be someone else, and the two begin sneaking away together, writing letters, making plans that feel like rebellion. Ripoll shoots their friendship in warm light and lingering close-ups, letting the camera stay long enough to feel how much they need each other.
