I Am Self-Sufficient
In Italy in 1976, Michele Apicella (Nanni Moretti), once a student protester in '68, has little to fill his days since his wife left and handed him their child. He tries to be a decent father while acting in an experimental theater company run by his friend Fabio (Fabio Traversa). Nanni Moretti directs himself in a small apartment, a child at his side, the stage waiting somewhere across town.
