I Am Twenty

Sergei Zhuravlyov (Valentin Popov) comes home from the army at twenty and takes a job at the thermal power station. He spends his days with two childhood friends, Slava (Stanislav Lyubshin), a young family man, and the cheerful Nikolai (Nikolai Gubenko). Marlen Khutsiev follows Sergei through ordinary days until he sees a stranger on the bus, Anya (Marianna Vertinskaya), and falls for her at first sight.
