I Am Woman

“The Helen Reddy story and the song that inspired a revolution”

In 1966, Helen Reddy (Tilda Cobham-Hervey) lands in New York with her three-year-old daughter, one suitcase and $230. Unjoo Moon follows her through the years after, as she falls in love with her manager Jeff Wald (Evan Peters) and finds a friend in the rock writer Lillian Roxon (Danielle Macdonald). The song she writes is meant to say, in plain words, that a woman can be strong and still be wanted.
