I Can No Longer Hear the Guitar
Gerard (Benoît Régent) is a young Parisian who lived through May 1968 and has stayed inside its habits of soft drugs and love that comes easily and leaves the same way. Philippe Garrel draws on his own past here, and the film moves through those years with the quiet of a place nobody has cleaned out. Gerard and Marianne (Johanna ter Steege) keep reaching for each other, though the music that once held them together is gone.
