I Can't Think Straight

“Two cultures. Two women. One love.”

In London, Tala (Lisa Ray) is deep in the planning of an elaborate Middle Eastern wedding when she meets Leyla (Sheetal Sheth), a shy young British Indian woman who is dating Tala's best friend. Tala is Palestinian and Christian, Leyla is Muslim, and the pull between them is immediate. Shamim Sarif sets two families' expectations against a private choice, and the film is about who gets to decide how a person lives.
