Juan Pablo (Dario Yazbek Bernal) is a Mexican writer with a move to Barcelona lined up and a life that looks mostly settled. Then he gets tangled up with a group of criminals, and his career and everything else slip out of his control. Fernando Frías de la Parra plays the whole thing deadpan, and the story keeps returning to a man who can't tell anyone what's happening to him without sounding like he made it up.
