I Hired a Contract Killer

Henri (Jean-Pierre Léaud) is a French civil servant in London who is let go from the same waterworks office where he has worked for years, with no one to tell. Having no nerve to end his own life, he pays a contract killer (Kenneth Colley) to do it for him. Aki Kaurismäki follows Henri through his final days, when a flower seller named Margaret (Margi Clarke) gives him a reason to want more of them.
