I Just Didn't Do It

A morning commute on a Tokyo train ends with a schoolgirl's accusation and Teppei Kaneko (Ryo Kase) in handcuffs, charged with a crime he says he never committed. Masayuki Suō follows the case through interrogation rooms and one court session after another, with Riko Sudo (Asaka Seto) and Masayoshi Arakawa (Koji Yakusho) among those working on his side. Teppei sits in the courtroom, the room quiet around him, still saying the same four words.
