I Like Movies

Lawrence Kweller (Isaiah Lehtinen) is a 17-year-old film obsessive who has no idea why nobody wants to sit next to him. He takes a job at a video store in the early 2000s, where his manager Alana (Romina D'Ugo) is older and not nearly as impressed by his opinions as he'd like. Chandler Levack follows the friendship that grows between them, and the film is plain about how badly a kid like Lawrence needs someone to tell him the truth.
