I Shot Andy Warhol

“You only get one shot at fame.”

Valerie Solanas (Lili Taylor), a New York radical in the 1960s, has written a screenplay and a manifesto called SCUM that argues men should be done away with. She hands the script to Andy Warhol (Jared Harris), hoping he will produce it, and he keeps putting her off. Mary Harron follows Valerie from her friendship with Stevie (Martha Plimpton) into Warhol's circle, where she waits for an answer that never comes.
