In the suburbs, Richard Cooper (Chris Rock) has a wife, two kids, and a job in the city. He also has a dry marriage, and he takes his lunch late so he can watch women walk past. Then Nikki Tru (Kerry Washington), an old crush, turns up at his office asking for a reference letter. Rock directs and co-wrote the script with Louis C.K., keeping the camera on Richard's face while he talks himself into the next lunch.
