I Thought It Was Love

In the early 1990s, Tommaso (Massimo Troisi) is still stuck on Cecilia (Francesca Neri), the girlfriend who left him, and he sets out to win her back. Troisi, directing for the last time, lets him talk himself in circles through long, stalling conversations with friends like Amedeo (Angelo Orlando). Whatever Tommaso and Cecilia once had keeps pulling at both of them, though neither can say what it has turned into.
