I, Tonya

“Fitting in is overrated.”

Tonya (Margot Robbie) has wanted one thing since she was a girl in Oregon: to skate well enough that the judges stop caring where she came from. Her mother LaVona (Allison Janney) drives her hard, and her marriage to Jeff (Sebastian Stan) sends her up the ranks. Craig Gillespie tells it through interviews with Tonya and Jeff that contradict each other, and the two of them are still bound together when the story turns on them.
