Ice Castles

Lexi (Taylor Firth) grows up in a small town far from any rink that matters, and her talent on the ice carries her out of it and into the world of competitive figure skating. Donald Wrye, who also directed the 1978 original, follows her as she reinvents herself and leaves her hometown boyfriend, Nick (Rob Mayes), behind. After a fall takes her sight, the story turns on whether someone's belief can give a person back the nerve to keep dreaming.
