Icebreaker

“Twenty terrorists, five hundred vacationing skiers, one ski patrol officer...”

Matt Foster (Sean Astin) is a ski patrol bum at the Killington resort in Vermont, more at home on the mountain than anywhere else. When terrorists led by Carl Greig (Bruce Campbell) take the resort hostage with a stolen nuclear device, Matt is the one left to stop them, with his fiancée caught in the middle. David Giancola shot it on location at Killington, and the whole film plays out against that snow and that mountain.
