Ichi the Killer: Episode Zero

“Anime at its most extreme.”

A killer is leaving bodies in the dark streets of Tokyo, and one man, a mobster who takes pleasure in pain, has gone looking for him. Shinji Ishihira's animated prequel goes back to the beginning of Ichi (Chihiro Suzuki), the psychopath with a thirst for bloodshed and a secret burning in his mind. Kakihara (Takashi Miike) wants to meet his match, and he is chasing a killer who shows no mercy.
