If Lucy Fell

“A comedy for the romantically challenged.”

Lucy Ackerman (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Joe MacGonaughgill (Eric Schaeffer) are roommates and best friends who make a pact: if neither has a real romance within a month, they jump off the Brooklyn Bridge together. Lucy's love life is a string of dull dates, and Joe is stuck on a neighbor he has never met. Schaeffer, who also directed, plays Joe himself, and he writes the two of them as people who talk to each other constantly.
