Ikarie XB 1

“Dare you take the first?”

In 2163, the starship Ikaria XB-1 leaves for deep space with a mixed crew, searching for alien life. Jindřich Polák puts Captain Vladimír Abajev (Zdeněk Štěpánek) in command as a malignant dark star and the leftover weight of the 20th century close in on them. Abajev holds the ship together while the people he is responsible for begin to test the limits of their own sanity.
