“Somewhere between L.A. and N.Y. Jake found the meaning of Christmas.”

Jake (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), a college student in Los Angeles, wants one thing for Christmas: the classic Porsche his father has promised him, provided he makes it home to Larchmont, New York, in time for dinner. The football team that bullies him leaves him in the desert in a Santa suit, with no wallet and no ID. Arlene Sanford sends him east while Allie (Jessica Biel) takes a ride from Eddie (Adam LaVorgna), and the clock on Christmas dinner keeps running.
