I'll Be Home for Christmas

Jack (James Brolin), a gruff retired police officer, turns up at his daughter's door just before Christmas, and no one has said why he's come after so long. Jackie (Mena Suvari) is an Assistant District Attorney and single mom, hurrying to close a case so she can be home with her eight-year-old, Gracie (Giselle Eisenberg). Brolin directs himself here, playing the father he has to be as well as he can.
