Tira (Mae West) dances at a fair and tames lions, and she has agreed to a stunt she would rather not try: putting her head inside a lion's mouth. The new act carries her circus to New York, where her real trade is waiting, which is flirting with rich men and keeping whatever they give her. Wesley Ruggles points the camera at West and Cary Grant (as Jack Clayton) and lets the dialogue carry every scene.
