I'm Not Here

“A different kind of love story . . .”

In this 2017 drama, Steve (J.K. Simmons) is an older man alone with the tragic memories of his past, and they keep crowding out his present. Michelle Schumacher cuts between that life and the earlier one, where a younger Steve (Sebastian Stan) is surrounded by Karen (Maika Monroe) and his family. Steve is trying to make sense of what he carries, and the cost may be the days he has left.
