(2015)Directed by Julia von Heinz92 minComedy, Drama, Family

On the Way of St. James, the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, Hape Kerkeling (Devid Striesow) sets out on foot after an existential crisis that has left him unable to carry on as before. Julia von Heinz adapts his bestselling book, and the road fills with other walkers, among them Stella (Martina Gedeck) and Lena (Karoline Schuch). Hape started the walk to get away from himself, and every step shows him how far that is from possible.
